You're a Ready Beginner — and that's the best place to be.

You've been thinking about this for a while. The truth is, you're closer than you think.

The number one thing that stops people like you isn't lack of knowledge.

It's not having a clear starting point that's built around your specific space and your real life. Once someone shows you exactly what to do first, everything else falls into place.

Here are your three first steps:
  1. Start with your space, not your seed list. Before you buy anything, look at what you're actually working with. How much sun does your space get? Do you have room for a raised bed, a few containers, or a mix of both? Your setup determines everything else.
  2. Choose one to three crops your family actually eats. Not what looks good in a catalog. What do you actually put on the table? Herbs, lettuce, tomatoes, and green beans are all strong first choices for most beginners.
  3. Start smaller than you think you need to. One raised bed done well will teach you more than five beds done poorly — and you'll actually enjoy it.

These three steps will get you started. But if you've been quietly imagining this for a while — going outside with your kids, harvesting something you actually grew, knowing exactly what went into the food on your table — and you're finally ready to make it real, that's what a session with me is for.

In 60 minutes we'll figure out exactly what to plant in your specific space this season. You'll leave with a clear, simple plan — and the feeling that this life you've been imagining is actually, finally, yours.

The Intentional Garden Session is a 60-minute one-on-one video call with me on Zoom.

 A note from Cortney:

I built this session for the person who has been wanting a garden for a while but hasn't known where to begin. In 60 minutes we'll look at your space, your season, and what your family actually wants to eat — and you'll leave with a clear, simple plan that's yours. Not a generic garden plan. Yours.
